Handbuch der Fledermäuse Europas

For the project Bats in Belarus we received an English and a German version of the text-book about European bats: 'Handbuch der Fledermäuse Europas'. It is a very thick book (400 pages) and describes all the species in Europe and the northwest of Africa. It is illustrated with the very beautiful pictues of Dietmar Nill.
In Belarus it is very difficult to acquire this kind of books. That's why we appreciate this gift a lot. We will take it with us when we go to Belarus at the end of the month for the workshops about bats and forest management. The Belarusian bat working group will become the new owner of the books.
