Report bird counts 2010 published

The report about the bird survey in the Eastern Rhodopes in spring 2010 is published. It contains the results of the first counts for the project 'Bird survey in Bulgaria'.
In May 2010 in a time span of two weeks counts were carried out at 52 points. Here 107 different bird species were seen and heard. In total 2,352 individuals were counted. The report gives the results for each point, so that tey can be compared with the results in the coming years.
